Moong Daal ka Halwa


  • 1 cup moong 
  • 2 cup ghee
  • 1 tblspn besan
  • 1/4 cup mawa
  • 3 cup milk
  • 1-1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tspn cardamom
  • Pinch of kesar assence
  • Pinch of kesar colour


  1. Heat the ghee in the kadai and put 1 tblspn besan and 1 cup moong in the kadai.
  2. In the seperate pan boil the milk  and put the sugar in it. 
  3. Now put the mawa in the kadai and then add little bit of milk.
  4. If the halwa is becoming thick then you can add little bit of water.
  5. Put the cardamom powder, pinch of kesar assence and kesar colour.
  6. At last take out in the bowl and spread little bit of almonds and pista.
