Sambhar (Daal)

Cooker Stuff:


  • Take a cooker and put 1 bowl arhar ki daal
  • Then big pieces of loki
  • Then salt and haldi
  • At last mix it properly and close the cooker and give one whistle...

First Kadai and Griding Stuff:

  • In the kadai put little bit of oil,
  • Then 1 serving spoon moong ki daal,
  • Then 1 serving spoon chane ki daal,
  • Then 1 serving spoon udat ki daal,
  • Then 1 tukra daal chini,
  • Then 1 tblspn sauf,
  • Then 1 tblspn saboot dhaniya,
  • Then 1 tspn dana methi,
  • Then 1 tblspn chawal ka aata
  • Then 1 serving spoon narayal powder,
  • At last take it out from the kadai, cool it and then grinde it.

Second Kadai Stuff:

  • In the kadai put little bit of rai,
  • Then 1 tomato,
  • Then 2-3 green chillies,
  • Then neem pata,
  • Then 1 adrak (grinded)
  • Cook it for a while.
  • Then put 1-1/2 tblspn red chilli powder,
  • Then first kadai and grinded stuff,
  • Then cooker stuff,
  • Then 1 muthi emli pulp,
  • Then 1 tspn salt, 
  • Then 1 tspn garam masala.
